Counseling
Take advantage of free and confidential counseling with licensed providers through your Employee Assistance Program (EAP). You can choose from telephonic counseling which is available 24/7/365, or counseling sessions with EAP network providers. Counseling sessions can be face-to-face, televideo through your computer or mobile device, or through online chat. The EAP benefit includes up to four free sessions per issue, per year for you and your household members. After your free sessions have been used, then your medical coverage will apply.
Your EAP is here only to help you. Your personal records will never be shared with American or anyone else without your permission. All records, including medical information, referrals and evaluations, are kept strictly confidential in accordance with federal and state laws.
