Thousands of our team members are affected by cancer every day. As part of our partnership with Stand Up To Cancer® (SU2C), team members have access to educational resources like printable documents to take to your doctor and a clinical trial finder.

If you do choose to use the Clinical Trial Finder, it is important to be aware of the following:

The Clinical Trial Finder, a resource owned and operated by Emerging Med (877-769-4829), is not sponsored or administered by American Airlines or Stand Up To Cancer and is not part of any American Airlines’ benefit plan. The Clinical Trial Finder is a registry and results from the finder will include an information database of clinical research studies sponsored or funded by a broad range of public and private organizations. Stand Up To Cancer clinical trials will be prioritized in the Clinical Trials Finder search results.  Therefore, you should review all of the search results carefully (not just those that appear first) before concluding that a particular clinical trial may be right for you.
Use of the Clinical Trial Finder does not guarantee participation in a clinical trial, or the coverage of costs associated with the clinical trial. If you are enrolled in a medical option under an American Airlines plan, coverage for routine patient costs associated with certain clinical trials may be covered, subject to the terms of that plan, including cost-sharing and other limitations. Any questions about plan coverage can be answered by contacting Accolade at 1-800-FIND-WAY (800-346-3989).
Information on the Clinical Trial Finder is provided by study sponsors and investigators, and they are responsible for ensuring that the studies follow all applicable laws and regulations.
Choosing to participate in a clinical study is an important personal decision. Before you participate in a study, discuss all options with your health care provider and other trusted advisors.
Any personal information provided in the course of using the Clinical Trial Finder is subject to Emerging Med’s privacy policy.
